About the artist

David Craig is an artist based in Los Angeles. He’s been drawing for most of his life, starting with childhood sketchbooks and continuing into a body of work that spans ink, acrylic, collage, and digital media.

His work often features recurring characters, fragmented text, and moments that feel like part of a larger narrative, even if one doesn’t exist. Much of it sits somewhere between humor and discomfort—images that are sometimes personal, sometimes observational, and sometimes just the result of seeing what happens when an idea runs its course.

In 2020, he self-published Adorned Absurdities, a 100-page coloring book made up of surreal ink drawings collected from older sketchbooks. Other projects have included risograph prints, original paintings, and small-run zines, with more work continuing to take shape.

This site includes selected pieces from different time periods. Some were finished recently. Others have been sitting in boxes for years. They weren’t made with an audience in mind, but they’re here now.
